Let Your Love Flow Retreat, December 2010: Testimonials and Photos

Sunset at Prana del Mar Retreat Center: Setting for ‘Let Your Love Flow Yoga Retreat’ outside of Cabo San Lucas in December 2010

“If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to join an Akupara yoga retreat, by all means, do so. It could quite possibly be the best thing you do for yourself all year. It most certainly will be the best week of your year.

Rachel is a wonder. She pours her years of yoga training and experience, along with all her heart and soul, into her retreats. You are free to simply dip your toes in the yogic waters or dive in with all you’ve got. It’s up to you. As for me, I can’t wait for Rachel’s next Akupara retreat.”

Beautiful secluded beach, just after a challenging hike: part of the ‘Let Your Love Flow Yoga Retreat’ outside of Cabo San Lucas in December 2010

“Rachel is an enthusiastic and dedicated yoga teacher. She is inclusive and accommodating. It is apparent how much she loves what she does.

Rachel is an amazing yoga teacher. She has a passion for yoga and for ayurveda, and it shines in everything she does. Her retreats are well planned and approached with love and devotion.”

Earth, Water, Fire Retreat, May 2009: Testimonials and Photos

Kahuna Falls as seen from below: ‘Earth, Water, Fire Yoga Retreat’ in May 2009, North of Hilo, Hawaii

“For me, it was an opportunity to get away from the normal routine of life. The setting caused me to simplify (no long showers, hair dryers, radio, tv, etc) and to slow down a bit. The gardens and the yoga studio provided a sense of comfort, beauty and peace for the whole time we were there. I had a week of being surrounded by complete love and peace - a combination I think we all need to experience from time to time.

I enjoyed the kundalini yoga because it helped me release some pent up emotions.”

-- Kathy Morris: Earth, Water, Fire Retreat May 2009

“The food was fabulous. The ayurvedic chef really made meals an unbelieveable treat. And he gave us the best food advice -- eat dessert first!

The people I met and practiced with were all special and lovely. This was one of those life experiences that you want to relive over and over.”

“My experience at an Akupara yoga retreat was profound. Not only did I savor the beauty and wonder of Hawaii and the joy of an in-depth, weeklong yoga practice, but I also gained personal insights and felt I developed true friendships. It was the growth experience of a lifetime.”

"We are people who need to love, because love is the soul’s life,
love is simply creation’s greatest joy."
