Sedona Yoga: Personal Yoga Classes in Sedona
Sedona is a beautiful place to experience yoga. The energy, as well as the splendor and proximity of nature, combine with the ancient science and art of yoga to create a truly unique practice.
Private classes are available for individuals, couples, or small groups. Each class is custom tailored to your unique needs and experience level. As a provider of authentic yoga, Akupara Yoga Retreats is able to offer the following components, according to your preference or your desired physical, mental, or spiritual transformation:
Asana – The physical movements of yoga. Excellent tools to decrease stress, improve physical fitness, or combat specific ailments you may be working with (such as arthritis).
Mantra – Ancient Sanskrit chants said to support manifestation, protection, focus of the mind, and enhance spiritual practice. Helps to prepare the mind for meditation.
Pranayama – Breath exercises, which also influence the flow of vital life force. Pranayama is very useful in calming the mind, preparing for meditation, shifting energy, and overall improvement of the respiratory system.
Yoga in Nature – Experience asana, meditation, pranayama and/or mantra surrounded by the natural beauty of Sedona. (Weather permitting.)
Yogic Cleanses – Gentle and simple ways of improving the healthy functioning of the body/mind/spirit, and an ancient method of preparing for deeper spiritual practices.
Yoga Nidra – Deep and transformational relaxation technique, that utilizes meditative tools, visualization, and intention setting to break through stressful mental blockages and manifest positive shifts in perception.
Yogic Philosophy – Study and discussion of ancient and modern yogic texts, philosophers and poets to help bring the benefits of yoga off the mat and into your daily life.
Just to name a few!
